Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier that tilts and folds, and how it fits on our 2023 GMC Yukon XL. So, it is a pretty big vehicle, and typically you might have a lot of storage space, but if you do have your whole family going on the trip with you, you might run out more quickly than you think. And in that case, a hitch cargo carrier like this is gonna be a great way to get some bigger items out of the back or maybe just some muddy, sandy items that you don't wanna keep in there. The weight capacity of this carrier is 500 pounds, which is pretty typical for carriers like this. What isn't typical for carriers like this is the fact that it is able to tilt away with the items loaded up. more

Today on our 2007 GMC Yukon XL we're going to be doing a test fit of the SportRack Vista cargo carrier. Now this cargo carrier is going to be 20 inches wide by 60 inches long and have that nice expanded steel bottom that's going to be easily washable if you need to. It's also going to have that sturdy steel construction that's going to offer that 500 pound weight capacity. If you look here you're going to see that it's going to have a 2 inch shank as well that's going to attach to that 2 inch receiver or class 3 receiver that you may have. And it attaches with an anti-rattle bolt. So starting off, it's going to be part number SR9849 and we'll get a few measurements. Our closest distance will be the first measurement. And as you can see that's going to be from the front side of the shank there and about 2 and 1/2. more

Today on our 2015 GMC Yukon XL we're going to be doing a test fit of the Detail K2 20 by 60" cargo carrier. It's going to have a 500 pound weight capacity and a sturdy steel construction, with a folding 2" shank for your 2" hitches only. It's going to be part number K2HCC602. Your hitch pin and clip are not included with this product, but if you'd like to obtain one you can get it on our website under part number PC3. Let's go ahead and get this fitted onto our Yukon. First step in doing so is to insert the shank into the receiver, then line up your pinholes. Once you have your pinholes lined up, let's insert our hitch pin and clip. more

Your hitch pin and clip are not included with this product, so if you'd like to obtain one you can get it on our website, and it's going to be part number PC3. Surco Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 GMC Yukon XL

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon XL, we'll be test fitting the Surco 24" x 60" cargo carrier, part number 52018. To begin our test fit we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch tube, line up our pin holes, and slide our pin through our pin holes and secure it with a clip. Now we'll go over a few clearance measurements. We have a ground clearance of 22-1/2". The closest part of the closest part of the vehicle is 3". The cargo door breaks over the surface of the carrier at about 9". more

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon XL, we'll be test fitting the 23" x 56" Rola Dart cargo carrier for 2" hitches, part number 59550. Now to begin our test fit, we'll slide the cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install the anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, our cargo carrier is secured to the vehicle. We'll now go ahead and give you a few measurements. With the platform in the stored position, we have a ground clearance of 22-1/2", and 3" from the closest part of the cargo carrier to the back of our vehicle. We can now go ahead and unfold the cargo carrier to the loading position. more

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon XL we'll be test fitting the 24 by 60 folding cargo carrier for two inch hitches rated at 500 pounds from CURT, part number C18132. Now to begin our test fit we'll slide the cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin holes, and install our hitch pin. We'll then put the clip on the other side which will then secure our cargo carrier to the vehicle. With our cargo carrier in the stored position we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance is 22 inches and from the closest point of the cargo carrier to the back of the vehicle in the stored position is about 1 inch. We'll now go ahead and pull the pin here at the base of the cargo carrier and bring the cargo carrier platform down. more

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon XL we'll be test fitting the CURT 20 by 60 folding aluminum cargo carrier, part number C18100. To install our cargo carrier we slide the shank of the carrier into the hitch, line up the pin hole, and then install the safety pin. We'll now go ahead and go over a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the back of the carrier is 23 1/2 inches. To the closest part of our Yukon XL tot eh carriers platform is about 7 1/2 inches. Our carrier will add 27 1/2 inches to the overall length of our Yukon XL. more

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon XL will be test fitting the Curt 20 x 48 cargo carrier for both 1-1/4-inch and 2-inch hitches part number C18145. Now with our included adapter on our cargo carrier, all we need to do is slide in the cargo carrier shank to the hitch line up the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down our anti-rattled bolts. With our bolt tight, our cargo carrier is now secured to our vehicle. We will now go over a few important measurements. The ground clearance at the back of the cargo carrier is 22 inches. Our cargo carriers closest point to the back of the vehicle is 3-1/2 inches. more
